Arts Council England's Take it away scheme has been set up to make musical instruments more accessible to children and young people.
It works by letting you spread the costs over 10 months, making it more affordable to buy an instrument for your child. You'll need to pay a deposit and then pay the rest back in 9 monthly instalments - completely interest free. You'll also need to complete a customer declaration confirming that you're buying the instrument for a child under the age of 18.
Young people aged 18 - 25 can also take advantage of a Take it away loan by applying in their own right.
